Passing an exam with flying colors are very important to every student. Without excellent results for our exams, the chances of us getting a scholarship or even getting into a good college reduce by a huge amount. Therefore it is compulsory for students to score impossible results during an exam. But to get a such a result you have to study hard and work for it. Of course, the main ingredient to excel in your studies is by, well, studying. But students in this generation tend to reduce their studying time. So, if the student doesn't have the self-discipline to start working by himself, it is up to the people surrounding him to motivate him.
The people you spend most of your time with should not only be the biggest motivation for your academic studies but for your whole life as well. They should be your role model. That's right. I'm talking about parents. If it isn't them who motivates us, then who can? They were the ones who helped us in our everyday life, always by our side ready to help. So parents most definitely play the biggest and most important influence in motivating their children to achieve great academic results.
Friends are our second family. In school, you hang out with them 24/7. So, they play an important part in you studying hard. Here's some advice for you : Choose your friends wisely. Some friends may be fun and amazing to hang out with but is that what you really need? Ok, you do need those kind of friends but the ones that really count are those who understand you. The ones who really wants you to do your best in everything you do, not those who don't care if you get the last in class. They should always be conscious about how you are doing and giving support for every step you take in your walk of life. These are the friends who you should treasure, as they are a once in a lifetime thing.
Lastly, a teacher plays a huge role in the motivation of a student. Teachers are our parents in school. They guide us in our studies. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have a proper education. Though it's undeniable that most students in the present time do not really like teachers in general, a teacher still tries tries his/her best to motivate a student to study. And we should never forget that.

Stress
Teenagers are to be the leaders of our country in the near future. However, there is an increase of youth suicides recently, making me ponder over the future of not only Malaysia, but of the whole Earth. If the number of suicides increase constantly, who will be the next people who will take the helm and lead the countries of the world next time? Not only that, if the youth are even thinking of suicide, what is happening in their minds making them resort to their last solution? Will they be able to cope when they reach adulthood or will they follow in the footsteps of them who decide to take the easy way out of things? Let's just hope that they will be able to mature and be able to face the things in life the proper way.
So what are these things that drive teens to suicide? The most dominant factor would be because of problems they face at home. People who have problems at home most of the time suffer the most. This is because home is where you spend most of your time at. There's no place you can hide when you are mistreated at home. No place for you to calm down and think things out as your one and only private place is the place where you are drowning at. "Home is where the Heart is". But if your home is torture then how will your heart be able to find rest? This is why many youths from broken homes commit suicide as they have no place to call a proper home. They break down under the pressure of their surroundings and with no place to vent their anger and problems, they end their life. In their minds they think that life is not worth all the pain, anger and suffering.
Exams. This dreaded word can cause a lot of pressure to students all over the world. Just like how there is an exam tomorrow but I am forced to do this for the sake of my English marks. Parents, especially Asian parents, have very VERY high expectations for their children. They expect their children to get top in class every single time when it is hard enough to pass the exams. Parents should understand not everyone is incredibly bright academically. Everybody is different and nothing can change it. Because of all the stress put upon their shoulders, students who can't find a way to relieve their pressure end up taking their own lives.
There are of course many more reasons teenagers commit suicide, among them are relationship problems and loss of a loved one but that would take up to much of my time when I'm supposed to be studying. But just a message to those going through hardships. Whatever it is, just face it and hope for the best because every cloud has a silver lining.

A Storm Brews Without Warning (Part 5)
"They lied. They lied. How could they lie to me?" The words kept repeating in John's head like a broken tape recorder. They said it was safe. That nothing would happen and he would be able to go back home back to his family. But now... It didn't seem that he would ever see daylight again.
The door opened and out stepped a balding man in his 50s wearing a spotless lab coat followed by two burly men twice the size of John. "Did you sleep last night John? You don't look to well you know" said the man in the lab coat. "We want you to be in your best condition when we conduct our experiment tomorrow."
All John could do was stare at Prof. Bob with murder in his eyes. The last time he tried to kill him he had lost two teeth and vomited at least 1 liter of blood. The two guys next to him weren't there just for show.
"I'm sorry that you will never be able to see your beloved wife ever again but sometimes for the sake of science sacrifices have to be made. You should be honored that you will be the first man to perform this breakthrough in the field of science. Imagine the limits that can be pushed after we genetically combine you with the cells of a lizard. The abilities of a lizard to regenerate its body parts will be passed on to a human. Of course, the risks are very high but if it is a success then who cares?"
"I'll kill you if it's the last thing I do."

"If this experiment happens, your husband will most likely die. And IF it does work, he will never be the same again. Probably wouldn't care about anything anymore, including you and your children."
They were in Anna's father's private jet headed for America. Her children were back at England under the care of a professional babysitter.
"But why are you doing this? You don't get any profit if the experiment doesn't happen."
The only response that she got was a large smirk on his face. How she wanted to slap it off. But as much as she hated to admit it, she needed this man's services for the sake of John.
"Well then, since we are arriving at California, I advise you to buckle your seat belt."
"Hey old man, listen to this. After our business over here is done you will send me and John back to England and never get involved in our lives ever again. Got it?"
"Just shut up will you."
On arrival there was a Porsche waiting for their arrival.
"Well then, let's go and see if that piece of filth is still alive."
